Collage@Odyssey Spring 2019 Social Justice Course

It’s hard to believe that 2018 is already coming to a close, or that 2019 feels so close, but the exciting news is that means the Spring 2019 term of Collage@Odyssey is coming soon!

Early registration will begin for the new  on December 1st, 2018. Families who sign up before January 1st, 2019, will receive a $10 discount on the tuition for Collage@Odyssey Spring 2019, and pay only $115 per student (regularly priced at $125).

A few things to know:

WHAT: Collage offers Social Awareness and Social Justice Education – We provide a safe space for students to explore issues of personal and social identity such as race and ethnicity, racism, poverty, and more, and explore how those identities intersect and diverge. We offer it as an after-school enrichment program once a week.

WHEN: Friday afternoons after school, from 1:15pm until 3:30pm. The first session will be on September 21st, and the last regular session will be on December 7th. (Final pickup must be made before 4pm to avoid a $10/30 minute late-pickup fee).

There will be a Parent Q&A Session in the evening on Friday, January 25th, as well as a Wrap-Up/Share-Out session on May 10th, to celebrate students’ growth and accomplishments.

WHERE: Odyssey School of Denver (6550 E. 21st Ave., Denver, CO 80207)

WHO: Any Odyssey student may be registered. Material and activities are geared toward students in Grade 3 and above.

HOW (MUCH): The cost is $125 per student each term.
