Happy School Year! Summer is very nearly over, and a new school year is starting. Of course, this is a big deal no matter what, but it’s an especially big deal for Collage, and for the Odyssey School of Denver. That’s because this fall, Collage will be offering its Social Awareness for Students course at Odyssey! Families whose children attend Odyssey are invited to enroll them in the program on or before Friday, September 7th, 2018.
A few things to know:
WHAT: Collage offers Social Awareness Education – providing a safe space for students to explore issues of personal and social identity, and explore how they connect to others, while building bridges of compassionate community. It is offered as an after-school program once a week, beginning this Fall at Odyssey School of Denver.
WHEN: Friday afternoons after school, from 1:00pm until 3:30pm. The first session will be on September 21st, and the last regular session will be on December 7th.
There will be a Parent Q&A session in the evening on Friday, September 14th, and there will be a Wrap-Up/Share-Out session on December 14th, to celebrate students’ growth and accomplishments.
WHERE: Odyssey School of Denver (6550 E. 21st Ave., Denver, CO 80207)
WHO: Any Odyssey student may be registered (sorry, no outside students for now). Material is geared most toward students in Grade 3 and above.
HOW (MUCH): The cost is presently $100 per student each term (which works out to $10 per student per regular session – Parent Q&A and the Wrap-Up/Share-Out are “free”).
